The Forum brings together health professionals and stakeholders to consolidate recommendations from prior fora and to define the way forward for teamwork among health professionals for better healthcare delivery and sustainable development.
Program highlights
- Registration & opening plenary (8:00–9:00)
- Keynote presentations and thematic panels on teamwork and One Health
- Interactive workshops and breakout sessions for practical recommendations
- Plenary to agree next steps and publication plans (closing session)
Objectives
- Engage experts with stakeholders on achieving teamwork among health professionals.
- Promote the One Health approach across human, animal and ecosystem health.
- Support equitable public health measures — "No one is safe until everyone is safe".
- Produce actionable recommendations and a combined publication from the three fora.
Previous Fora
1st Forum — 30 Mar 2023
Initiated the series and set the teamwork agenda. Key outcomes included recommendations on interprofessional collaboration and a call for One Health integration.
2nd Forum — 7 Oct 2024
Focused on how to teach and entrench teamwork among professionals. Produced practical teaching frameworks and policy suggestions for institutions.
